JIhad Bali Bomber Reportedly Found Dead In Philippines -- A body believed to be that of Indonesian terrorist leader Dulmatin, wanted for the October 2002 Bali bombings, was recovered Monday afternoon by a joint military team in Tawi-Tawi province. Thes said the corpse was jointly identified by informants with notable wounds in the head, chest and right foot to include clothing in physical characteristics matched with previous revelations. Abu Sayyef U.S. Embassy Warns of Terrorist Attack in South Philippines -- The U.S. Embassy in Manila warned U.S. nationals on Monday against terrorist threat in Mindanao, southern Philippines. The embassy said in a notice posted on its website that terrorist threats may affect public places like bus terminals and shopping malls in central Mindanao, especially in Cotabato City there. Moro Islamic Liberation Front Philippine Military Rushes Troops To Battle Islamic Militants in the South -- The Philippine government has relocated its military headquarters and stepped up its offensive against Islamic extremists in the south, sending hundreds of additional troops to the province of Sulu, where fighting in recent days left at least 25 Philippine soldiers dead. The death toll included 25 soldiers and 27 militants killed Thursday when suspected Abu Sayyaf extremists ambushed a truck carrying troops headed to get supplies, then fought a running gunbattle with soldiers in pursuit, said Lt.
